"Unprofessional and shows little effort"
The only quality aspect of this animation is the audio, and since it was not created by the one taking credit for the animation, this movie fails. Even the audio quality is fuzzy at some times. The art is very, very primitive, and does not complement the audio. Come on- stick people and red and pink lines for blood and gore. There is no background, and the characters are poorly drawn and identical. The animation is not very smooth at all. Honestly, I do not think you deserve the credit for the work. WKUK made the audio skit, and that's what the ten-spamming idiots are reviewing, not your work. The good aspects of this animation are merely the okay choice of audio, for I did not think it was that funny, the lip synching was pretty good, and the fact that you DID cite the WKUK, but some of your idiotic reviewers did not understand. So, to improve, try working with original audio, draw a background, and take the Flash Portal a little more seriously and develop original comedy. This is not a work worthy of the acclaim it gets. I do not mean to insult you as an artist, but I feel this had to be said. Try harder and keep at it- I am sure that you can achieve better than this.

The battle system is awesome, and so are the cutscenes for the most part. I am very happy that I had beta tested this before I played it, to get a taste of what turned out to be great. The Kirby battle was enjoyable, and I really liked the diversity of abilities amongst characters and the actual strategic elements to the battles, such as lowering X's attack to zero and then unleashing hell upon him! Also, the soundtrack was awesome- Zero-Resurrected is one of my favorite audio artists. Just a great work, but a little short and the interface is a little lacking. Look out for my name in the beta testers section of the credits! Keep up the amazing work!
Author's Response:
thanks glad you enjoyed the flash. I tryed to diversify the characters as much as possible so that when they all come together in the end you'll have some really fun strategic battles. Interface is deffinatly something I'll try to make look better on future episodes

One feature that would be nice to make it easier for some of the people that are complaining about it being "for U.S. only" would be to be able to disable certain categories. The only category that I think would be impossible to traverse for an intelligent person that is not American would be sports. Otherwise, the person is ignorant. Do you hear me saying "Oh, since I'm not a sports fan, it's unfair to ask me sports questions!" Seriously, it's a trivia game. You can't expect the artist to make every single question possible to answer by everyone.
All of this aside, I like the door animation, the artwork and the questions are interesting and not repetitive. The music does get annoying, but that's what turning the sound off on the computer is for! Overall, a solid trivia game with decent animation and a variety of questions. You have every right to be proud of this game.

The orchestration was stunning. Instead of being upstaged by the lead guitar, the two balance each other out with the speed and distortion of the guitar with the slower, cleaner sound of the choir voice. As usual, the intro grabbed me immediately. As it continues, I can find myself constantly impressed by the melodies. Each song of yours is so unique and amazing in its own way, but out of all of the great works, this has got to be my favorite. To give this review a little more substance rather than just excessive praise, though that is what the song deserves, I would agree that there should be some transition at 1:40 from the guitar to the orchestration, but quite honestly, I don't care. Best symphonic metal track I've heard on Newgrounds. Amazing work!

Wow, I don't know what to say...you've reviewed multiple works of mine ranging from originals to remixes; from rock to "video game" metal, folk metal and now symphonic metal. I really appreciate the review, and know what you refer to when you mention the choir, orchestration and guitars. After all, we have similar music tastes ^^
Again, yep, I really did rush myself in a way not thinking of adding a fading sustained note at 1:40 or even some noise from the guitar that signals the intro replaying at the end. What can I say - I was eager to get this track on Newgrounds Audio for everyone to hear XD Thanks so much for the detailed (fluffy and excessive, but detailed XD) review. Thanks even more for continuous and consistent reviews on my works; at least I now know two people in NG who I can rely on to criticize my work. :)
If you liked Maelstorm, the future will have more symphonic metal pieces from me. It's actually one of my most favorite (sub)genres of metal and likewise I have lots of concepts for songs in the genre waiting to be finished. But I'll share this one last thought of mine - one day, Newgrounds Audio will hear symphonic power metal, and it'll come from me. One day. ;)

I enjoyed the lead guitar very much, and the melody was great. The one thing stood out to me was how the song built on itself. The sort of angelic choir sound that started at 0:48 really fit into the song. My favorite aspect of the song is when at 1:25 the song deconstructs itself then builds again, adding the instruments back for a powerful transition to the outro. Great job!
Author's Response:
For the third time, thanks so much! But this time, it means a lot more, since you took the time to review properly one of my very first songs, which lacks a certain quality & requirement that I now have all the time. Even still, this song is MUCH more important than...pretty much all the others I have in my account as of now, since it is completely original. Not a remix of anything, but my very own creation.
Thank you for the review and the fav! An original will come again...someday...^^

I've never played (or even heard of) the series in question, but the song is just amazing. I really like the piano, and my favorite part is the outro. I really don't see why people don't like the "random hits". I think they're perfect. The only noticeable flaw I see is the lack of transition to the outro. The guitar work is great, and though I thought the song was leading to become overly complex, it never sounds muddled to me. Great work!
Author's Response:
When I remixed this song, I just really felt the need to add orchestration and that piano. I guess it worked out well! And finally, someone who directly says that the random hits sounds okay XD They're perfect with the original and I honestly don't see why they wouldn't fit in with my remix. People are probably not used to things like that ^^;
And yes, I admit to that flaw to the outro. I do that a lot, but I try to make it sound better each time...TCA was my first attempt, so I'm not gonna wonder why you thought it was kinda abrupt. Because I know it is. XD
Also, it can sound muddled at some points where ALL instruments are playing, but I always try to balance it as much as possible.
Thanks for the review. =)
